That incident with the Danish cyclist, Frederik Madsen, riding straight into the back of the straggling British rider, Charlie Tanfield :shock:

What a plonker! OK, he was obviously concentrating on the black line but he should have also been looking where he was going. But to make things worse, after he'd caused the crash, he was clearly having a go at poor Charlie, and then equally clearly shouted "F*ck them" as he stormed off, followed by petulantly throwing things around in the team area.

I believe the result stood, as they had effectively won by catching the straggler, but equally, they didn't finish and I personally think they should have been penalised for the lack of sportsmanship. But what do I know? :roll:

Probably more than the UCI does about training of officials to apply their rules consistently.
