This semed the right place for it!

OK so it's more about the world record than the book but hey :)

Whitby Dracula gathering smashes vampire fancy dress world record

A new world record has been set for the largest gathering of people dressed as vampires.

A total of 1,369 people attended Whitby Abbey in North Yorkshire dressed as the ghoulish character, breaking the previous record of 1,039 set in 2011.

The event was organised to mark 125 years since Bram Stoker's novel Dracula was published in 1897.

The Gothic horror tale was said to have been inspired by Stoker's trip to Whitby in 1890.

That last sentence is begging to be summarised as 'horror tale inspired by trip to Whitby'

Ah, wishes count for nothing, if you weren't there for the Count count you don't get counted :-P

I am disappointed the account of this gathering of counts doesn't say who was counting the counts or whether any music was played when the last of them descended from the hill...
(none shall not groan when they nameth the melody)

Nice try but the punnage is both worse and better than that, but not as cryptic* as it should be.

* cryptic, crypt-ic, geddit  oh please yourselves  NB digression, not a clue :-P

Where does Dracula stay when he visits New York?

The Vampire State building :D

(I just made that up, although I'm sure it's been done before!)
