WhatsApp gallery

Someone sent me a rather unpleasant video, which I deleted. Unfortunately, it's still lurking in the WhatsApp Gallery. So if you want to add an attachment and you click on the paperclip, it takes you to the Gallery where this video is still lurking. I've googled and youtubed and followed all the suggestion but nothing works. I've got rid of it from my phone's gallery, it's just in WhatApp gallery. Any ideas?

I've never used WhatsApp and, by coincidence, was only saying to Gill this morning that I have no idea what it's actually supposed to do!

Are you on Android? If you go to Apps in Settings, there should be an option to tweak things there and, hopefully, delete the offending image? Alternatively, completely delete the app and then re-install?

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. I did look in App settings but no option other than clear cache there. Eventually I found that some things were stored in Google pictures - but not everything, don't ask me why - and I tried deleting from there and it's seemed to work.
